Meet Christine

Hey there! It’s Christine. I’m a Profit Coach and I have been working with clients on the concept of Know your Numbers as a tool for helping them grow their businesses.

I started C.Campbell Agency in 2006 as a solo bookkeeper, working with businesses to help them keep up to date with their financial tracking. C.Campbell Agency is now a team of professionals across Canada and combined we have over 60 years of experience. We have a strong team dedicated to working closely with our clients. What does that mean to our clients? It means that we help them keep their finances up to date and know their numbers in real time. 

Working with a reliable team has allowed me to take things to the next level with my business. That is where Know Your Numbers comes in. As a Profit Coach, the first thing I look at with a client is financial reports, past and present. That will give us the foundation to build on. Knowing Your Numbers is directly connected to increasing your profit. 

You don’t need to do it all on your own

I’ve always been a strong believer that you don’t need to do it all as a business owner. Both you and your business will benefit from working with professionals. Over the years, I’ve worked closely both with a mentor in my industry and a life coach, both of whom have provided me with accountability and support in making business decisions. I highly recommend surrounding yourself with a strong team, as I know that my amazing team has been key to the development and growth of C.Campbell Agency.

I’ve also learned to outsource tasks that I don’t need to do on my own. This has freed up time and energy that I can spend on the parts of my business that really need me and that I feel passionate about. Each business is different, but one area that many businesses benefit from is hiring a bookkeeper instead of doing it yourself. Or maybe you just want to start small by getting some help in the office, filing papers, and sorting through emails.

Working on my own business has allowed me to discover patterns that are out there when it comes to talking about money and why a business is profitable or struggling. Part of understanding these patterns was to explore my own secret money scripts that were at the foundation of many, if not all, of my own business decisions. It involved answering tough questions and doing some soul searching. I found it fascinating and have continued to explore the concept of how these patterns can affect the success and profit of a business. 

Keep learning and connecting

Two of the key reasons I work as a profit coach is my passion for business and my interest in connecting with other business owners. I’ve always stayed current with what's new within my industry and what’s new with the tools I use. With QuickBooks Online, I am an Elite Pro Advisor and attend all the latest product seminars. This gives me an opportunity to share my knowledge with other business owners and see how this information creates changes that directly impact these businesses.

I also gain an incredible amount of information about business in my community by being part of some great organizations. Many of my business networks come from being Chair of the Board of Directors for Squamish Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Association, Board Member of Inside Edge Knowledge Association, and Founder of Squamish Business Mentors Group. 

Life/work balance

The last thing I’m going to talk about is life/work balance. Self care is extremely important. I love the outdoors and can often be found walking, hiking, or biking the many Sea to Sky trails. I have a strong network of people that have the same interests and join me on most of my excursions. I now start each day with meditation, journaling, 30 minutes of exercise, and my latest morning routine of cold-water immersion. Find the things that rejuvenate you and build them into your busy week. Your business is only as strong as you are.
